John Boehner, John Fleming + More React to House Voting to Defund Obamacare
Following the House’s passage of a measure to keep the government open through mid-December if Congress strips funding from ObamaCare, John Fleming (R-LA), John Boehner (R-OH), Jim Bridenstine (R-OK) and Darrell Issa (R-CA) celebrated the victory on Twitter.

In recess until next week, the Senate is expected to vote on the measure this coming Tuesday. It’s unlikely it will pass in the Democrat-controlled Senate as is.
The House’s measure would replace Obamacare with a plan that would expand tax breaks for Americans who buy their own insurance. Over 140 congressional Republicans signed on to the bill that will keep the government going at the current level of funding and delay Obamacare.
