Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards spoke with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about Tuesday's tornadoes that ravaged New Orleans and parts of south Louisiana, specifically, was there enough damage for the state to qualify for federal disaster aid.

The Governor also discusses his plans for the upcoming legislative session and what cuts to the state budget he's hoping to see legislators make, the controversy surrounding Health and Human Services funds and balancing the budget with Louisiana's "rainy day" fund.
