Man Sees Wife for the First Time, Says 'I Hit the Jackpot!'

They say you only have one shot at a first impression. Jason Mortensen's wife Candice can argue otherwise.

While filming her husband recovering in a hospital bed after surgery, Candice was taken by surprise when her dazed husband didn't seem to recognize who she was. But what makes the video even better is his reaction when she tells him.

"Did the doctor send you," asks Jason, obviously doped up with something and in obvious physical pain. He then adds: "Man, you are eye candy. Are you a model?"

The wife laughs, then Jason asks who she is and her name.

"My name's Candice. I'm your wife," she calmly explains.

His reaction is both hilarious and touching.

"You're my wife," the stunned man asks. "Holy s___! Dang! I hit the jackpot!"

He clearly is out of it and can't recall their six years of marriage. What is clear is that he loves Candace very much.

I wish I could remember this but I was definitely out of it. This was my fifth surgery within our six years of marriage and she's been by my side through all of it. In a previous surgery I suffered a severe complication and we didn't know if I'd ever function the same again. She is the love of my life.
