Sentencing for James Edward Mason Junior has been postponed. Mason was scheduled for sentencing on a second-degree murder charge in Caddo District Court this morning, but his attorney was unable to be in court today. So sentencing has been rescheduled for Monday, September 26th, at 9:30 a.m. Mason was found guilty by a caddo Parish jury earlier this month for his role in the November 2007 shooting death of Latorisha Wiley. His co-defendant, Charles Evans, is scheduled for trial in October, also on a second-degree murder charge.
