Rocker, entrepreneur, amateur Taxidermist and Baseball Hall of Famer are all things you can now use to describe Jack White. White and his signature baseball bat have recently been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Warstic, the baseball bat company co-owned by White and current Los Angeles Angels second baseman Ian Kinsler, announced that the bat used during a charity baseball game back in March has been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. The "Boarding House Reach" bat from that game was personally requested by National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum president Jeff Idelson.

White, a baseball fanatic and Detroit Tigers lover, also sold off replicas of the bat to raise money for two charities including Well For Culture, “an initiative within the Native Wellness Institute which seeks to teach and promote healthy lifestyle practices, ancestral eating, Indigenized fitness, and mental-spiritual connectedness,” and supporting sponsorship of Native American youth participation in baseball. The sale raised over $32,000.

Speaking of Jack White, you can see him live in Shreveport in September. He'll be playing the historic Municipal Auditorium on September 15th. You can get tickets to that show here.
