Shreveport Assistant Chief Bill Goodin talks to 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about last week's comments by union boss Sgt. Michael Carter regarding the possibility of raises for officers and that low pay is contributing to low morale.

Goodin addresses Carter's claims that the city's department is a "training ground" for numerous officers who eventually leave the area, moving on to departments with better pay and what the current administration is doing to secure raises for Shreveport police.
