Though there's been no official word from LSU Coach Les Miles, sources in the Tiger's program say that Parkway grad Brandon Harris has the upper hand in his battle for the starting QB job against Anthony Jennings, that according to nola.com.

"...sophomore Brandon Harris has progressed on the field and is light years ahead of where he was last season. The Tigers' practices are closed to the media, but the sources inside the program said Harris has exhibited a grasp of the offense throughout fall camp."

The report also says that Tigers players are "rallying behind Harris" and the coaching staff is preparing him to be the starter when the season gets underway in less than a month.

"...all indications are that Harris will be the starter over junior Anthony Jennings and coaches are preparing him as such. The Tigers open with McNeese State on Sept. 5."
