State Representative Cedric Glover has been talking a lot recently about gambling in Louisiana. The former Mayor of Shreveport says that regulatory laws on the industry is hurting not only the Shreveport/Bossier area, but the state as a whole.

Glover and Senator Ronnie Johns from Lake Charles have created a Gaming Task Force to try and improve gaming in the state. They will turn over their findings and suggestions to Governor John Bel Edwards before the start of the 2018 Legislative Session.

Glover hopes the new task force can help our laws and casinos evolve so they don't lose any more ground on the rest of the country.
