An infant and a 2-year old were nearly dead when a few strangers came to the rescue and saved their lives.

Four people died and over 50 were injured after tornadoes wreaked havoc about 10 miles north of Canton, TX. Tom Mitchell hopped into his vehicle and started driving, looking to help out anyone in need.

Mitchell rolled up to a truck that was flipped over near Myrtle Springs—a father and two young kids inside. Tom didn't have the strength to help out, but he shot video as five or six other Good Samaritans helped to free the toddler and the infant.

But the infant was noticeably limp and that's when Tom jumped into action. As he tried to revive the child, a woman began to pray over them.

Well the first prayer she said, I felt a response in that child

After reviving the infant, the Good Samaritans turned their attention to the toddler and revived her too.

An update on social media from the family on Sunday gave everyone some good news:

Update on addy bug, she is stable and doing much better. Still under sedation but pulling the breathing tube in the morning to see if she can do it on her own.

Just a great story that shows what can happen when strangers come together.
