If It Sounds Too Good To Be True…….

Beware of scam artists. A Bienville Parish woman is out a thousand dollars after falling for this latest ruse.  A man called the woman's house and claimed to be from Publishers Clearing House. 

He told her he had a check for her for half a million dollars. But he then told her she would have to go to Walmart and purchase two GreenDot Cards. He says this was her way of officially registering so she could collect the money she won. She did just that, but when she didn't hear from the man, she called GreenDot and found out that her money had been transferred to one single Walmart debit card.
