Just when you think the 'PC Police' can't go any farther (or get any more ridiculous), a student group at St. Thomas University in Minnesota has been forced to cancel a 'hump day' fundraiser after complaints that using the Geico commercial camel could be construed by Middle Eastern students as racist.

The event, put on by the Residence Hall Association, was supposed to be “a petting zoo type of atmosphere” in which students could take photos (for a small contribution) with a live camel. According to the association, the camel is owned by a local vendor and available to the public for special events.
