Horrifying Home Invasion Caught On Nanny Cam

A New Jersey mother was just watching cartoons with her 3-year-old daughter one morning when a man broke into her house and beat her.  The whole attack was caught on the family's nanny cam.

CBS New York reports the woman was repeated beaten by the man in front of her young daughter.

Local police believe the man broke into the house believing that it was empty, but when he realized it wasn't, he took his anger out on the mother.

The daughter and the sleeping one-year-old upstairs were not harmed.  The man took jewelry.

The brutal video, which can be seen below, has Millburn, NJ, police calling this one of the most violent attacks they have ever seen.

Millburn is located about 35 miles west of New York City.
