A weekend home invasion leaves police searching for answers...and suspects.  A shooting was reported at an apartment in the 3200 block of Knight Street. Witnesses have told police they were sitting outside on their patio, when two men approached them. The men -- who had their faces covered and were armed with handguns -- forced the residents inside, then stole items from the apartment. As they were leaving, a man who had previously been at the home walked in. That man struggled with the suspects, and ended up getting shot in the head. The victim was taken to LSU Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The suspects are described as two black males, both about 5'11" to 6'1" and 150-160 pounds. If you have information that can help identify the men, call Shreveport detectives (673-6955) or Crime Stoppers (673-7373).
