Hillary Clinton Dodges Shoe Thrown At Her During Las Vegas Speech (Video)

During a speech at an  Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries meeting in Las Vegas on Thursday, a woman threw what she described as a shoe (but seemed to include other objects as well) at former secretary of state Hillary Clinton who was the convention's main speaker.

Mrs. Clinton's ducked and said, 'Was that a bat?' Then realizing that a shoe had been hurled in her direction made a number of jokes about the incident as the attacker, a woman in the audience, was taken into custody by security.
