Here’s Some Great Weekend Events Happening in Shreveport-Bossier
The Sportsman’s Expo kicks off today and runs all weekend. But it’s only one of many things going on this weekend.
Sportsman’s Expo is being held at the Shreveport Convention Center and it features several special guests, live music and great vendors.

Saturday 10 a.m. 7 p.m.

James Burton Foundation’s International Guitar Festival: August 22 through August 24 this year, with some awesome performances scheduled for August 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Municipal Auditorium in downtown Shreveport. 25th Annual Auction Against Aids: Saturday night at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome and this year’s theme is ‘Stars of the Silver Screen’ and the Philadelphia Center’s Black and White Ball won’t disappoint! Each year, the event gets bigger and better. Everything you need to know about the event.
Duck Commander Independence Bowl Trivia night is Saturday, August 23rd at the club level of Independence Stadium. Dinner is provided by Rotolo’s and begins at 6pm. Trivia starts at 7pm. Teams of eight will compete in 5 rounds of trivia on various subjects, including: college football, entertainment, sports, history and more. The top three teams will win tickets to the 2014 Duck Commander Independence Bowl. Find out how you can play.
