Today is Maggie Lee For Good Day across the nation and the world. What is this day? It's a day to do a good deed for someone else.

Maggie Lee Henson was a 12-year-old who died from a traumatic brain injury she suffered when the First Baptist Church of Shreveport Bus flipped and landed on her on July 12th, 2009, while on the way to youth camp.

When this day was first started back in 2009 on Maggie Lee's birthday, more than 18,000 people performed ONE ACT OF KINDNESS in her honor. This movement has grown to a worldwide event.

Here are some of the projects done in her honor:

Water wells have been dug in Africa, a home has been built in Haiti, food delivered to the poor in Chicago, L.A., Paris, New York and Carracas. Money has been raised for organ donation services, women's shelters, food pantries, animal shelters, and countless other non-profit organizations.

We have witnessed people paying for other people's restaurant checks, groceries or fast food tabs. I also wanted to get some ideas of things you could do for others that won't cost a thing and I got several great suggestions.

Need ideas for things we can do on Maggie Lee for Good Day that don't cost money? Give me some suggestions.
