Haynesville Shale Committee Meets Today

The focus of today's Haynesville Shale Committee meeting will be to discuss a request by Exco, representing Cypress Energy Corporation. It's asking for Shreveport to agree to reduce royalty payments, or to place all royalty payments in suspense on 80 acres until the question of ownership has been resolved. Shreveport City Council Chairman Ron Webb has called for the meeting to start at 1:30 this afternoon in the Chamber Conference Room, on the first floor of Government Plaza on Travis Street downtown.
