Okay, so it's not the greatest scientific advancement ever, but it just might be one of the most useful inventions of all time. It’s called Bug-A-Salt and it's a shotgun for killing flies.

It uses regular table salt and fires fast and broad enough to hit a fly from a distance. It’s completely non-toxic, and best of all, it let’s you pretend to be your favorite action move hero. In my case, by the way, that'd be Jason Statham from 'The Transporter' movies.
