Kenneth Fulmer didn't have a very happy birthday. Bossier Parish Sheriff's spokesman Lieutenant Bill Davis says the 44-year-old Haughton man got into an argument with his neighbor over a dog, went drinking and came home to attack his father with an unlikely weapon: a cookie cake.

Police say Fulmer left to get some drinks to celebrate his birthday. While he was out, his 77-year-old father bought his son a cookie cake for his birthday. Fulmer returned home drunk, got into an argument with his father and attacked him with the cookie cake.

Fulmer was booked on charges of simple battery of the infirmed and disturbing the peace.
