Gwen Stefani to Join ‘The Voice’ as a Coach

Gwen Stefani confirms she will be a coach on 'The Voice' for season 7.
Stefani has confirmed that she will join NBC's 'The Voice' as a coach for Season 7 which begins filming in June. Christina Aguilera is pregnant and wont be back until Season 8.

The 44-year-old No Doubt lead singer is excited to be joining the show, tweeting this message to her fans:

It has been rumoured for weeks without official confirmation that Gwen would be joining the NBC reality singing show.

Other coaches on the reality show have yet to comment about Gwen's addition to the show. Gwen's deal is currently for one season as Christina has already signed on for her return to The Voice during season 8. Stefani, who would be taking a seat next to veteran judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, won't be the only new face on the set.  Pharrell Williams is taking over for CeeLo Green
