Bossier City Police chased and arrested a suspect after he was seen trying to break into cars parked at the Louisiana Boardwalk.  18-year old Darius Dobin was caught by an officer who was patrolling the Boardwalk after getting complaints from witnesses about a man checking car handles on cars parked near the I-HOP.

As the officer tried to arrest Dobin, he pulled away and began fighting with the officer before running away. Dobin fled on foot onto the Boardwalk property and through the Bass Pro Shop parking lot.  Four other officers, including three detectives who happened to be in the area at the time, also stepped in to help.  Officers caught up with Dobin who again resisted and began fighting the officers who were eventually able to take him into custody.  3 of the 4 officers got hurt.  Dobin is facing a long list of charges including resisting an officer and battery on an officer.  Police also discovered Dobin had a fugitive warrant for his arrest from Probation and Parole.
