Tom Gresham, host of the syndicated Gun Talk radio show, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about recent revelations in the Obama era "Fast and Furious" scandal and his thoughts on last week's Bret Kavanaugh judicial hearings.

In reference to the Department of Justice gun running plan, Gresham wrote on his website, guntalk.com:

Remember that there was never a plan to trace or track the guns being sold to the drug cartels. The plan was to allow the guns to be used in murders and then use that as political leverage. We are told that when Fast and Furious was originally being created at least one agent objected, saying that these guns would (by design) be used to commit murders and that they probably would be used to murder United States law enforcement officers. The chilling response from one of the bureaucrats reportedly was, "Well, if you want to make an omelet, you have to break some eggs." In other words, the administration was okay with the murder of its own law enforcement officers -- maybe even eagerly anticipating that so it could be used to push the narrative -- in order to advance the gun-control plank in the Democratic Party platform.

And Gresham is equally incensed regarding the recent Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on the appointment of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court:

After watching the reprehensible actions of the Democrat party over the Kavanaugh nomination, they have done what I never imagined to be possible— take me from someone who simply preferred one party, to someone who sincerely hates one party. I really don’t like it, but the lying, dishonesty, and eagerness to destroy a good man in their maniacal scorched earth campaign for power has earned the Dems my lifetime animus and opposition. I have good friends who are democrats. We can disagree, then break bread and have a drink. That’s never a problem. What the Dem leadership has done here, however, is utterly despicable.
