Ground Water Meeting Planned

The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources is holding a public meeting tomorrow afternoon to talk about managing the state's ground water resources. A state ground water plan has been drafted and it will be available for your review. Ground water has been a major issue this year -- with continued growth, drilling, and the ongoing drought. Public comments will be received during tomorrow's meeting. You can also submit comments in writing through November 21st. Tomorrow's meeting starts at 5:30 at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum on the Fairgrounds.
