Ground Broken for Margaritaville

Even though work has been underway for about a week, ground has now officially been broken for the Margaritaville resort casino in Bossier City. Bossier Casino Venture President Paul Alanis says he's developed hotels and casinos all over the country but Bossier is something different. He calls it the best place to develop in the U-S. Alanis says the nearly-$200-million complex will generate an estimated 1200 jobs and dramatically change the face of the local gaming industry. It's scheduled for completion in the summer of 2013.  Jimmy Buffett is second from right.
