Shreveport detectives are asking the public for help in identifying and finding the man who robbed the Auto Zone store in the 3400 block of Greenwood Road last Thursday.  In the surveillance video, he can be seen walking into the store shortly after 7:00 that evening.  He walked around for a moment, then approached the female clerk; pointed a handgun at her, and demanded money.  When she opened the register, he scooped the money out of the drawer and started to leave.  But he dropped some of the bills and stopped to pick them up before leaving the store.  He was seen running west and then behind the store.  Moments later, a black vehicle is seen pulling out from behind the store.  It's thought that the robber got into that car which may be a Chrysler 300.

The robber is described as a black male standing about 5'9" and weighing about 150 pounds.  He has a dark complexion and gold teeth.  He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants and was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information that can help police identify and capture this guy.  You can call Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 or report your tip online at www.lockemup.org
