Great Time For A Road Trip: Gas Prices Dropping In Northwest Louisiana

Drivers are now seeing gas prices drop fairly significantly in the area. For instance Sam's Club in Shreveport is selling regular around 3.08 a gallon.

Prices are down from where they were in July, and have been dropping at a steady rate of about one cent a day over the last few weeks. American Automobile Association fuel analyst Don Redman says we could see that trend continue.

"What we've seen in the last week, is that prices are coming down. were looking at a decrease of almost 18 cents over the last month, and a 17 cent drop over last year as well."
