Rush Limbaugh discussed popular Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill and why she did not find it necessary to pay about $1 million dollars in taxes.

". . . she has been given three months in prison for failing to pay about a million dollars in taxes over the last 10 years. She blames slavery for it," said Limbaugh. "She said, 'I am a child of former slaves, who had a system imposed on them. I had an economic system imposed on me.'"

Limbaugh argued that a certain group had something to do with this.

"She's a Grammy award-winning singer in the United States of America, and she's trying to portray herself as some sort of prisoner," said Limbaugh. "Who's putting that kind of stuff in her mind? The Democrat Party."
