Graduations

This is Memorial Day weekend but, for many, it's also Graduation Day.The Shreveport Fire Department held a graduation ceremony this morning for the 57th Basic Training Class at the Fire Training Academy. This abbreviated training class was for four previously trined fire professionals who came here from other departments. Northwood, Green Oaks, Hamilton Terrace, and North Caddo High Schools hold their graduations this evening. Tomorrow's graduation day for Huntington, Captain Shreve, Caddo Magnet, and C.E. Byrd High Schools. Tomorrow is also graduation day for the LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. That ceremony is being held in the Centenary College Gold Dome.
