Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal spent most of the day today surveying the Texas-Mexico border in McAllen, TX, and getting briefed on border activities by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Also making the trip were State House Speaker Chuck Kleckley, State Police Commander Mike Edmonson, and several top-level State Police officials.

The Louisiana contingent was not only briefed on border activities but also got a first-hand look from the air and on the water.  See Erin McCarty's earlier post for more information about their visit.

The accompanying photos in this posting were all provided by the Governor's Office.
