Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has ordered flags on all state buildings to be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset this Thursday in memory of Archbishop Philip Hannan.  The long-time leader of the New Orleans Archdiocese passed away last Thursday at the age of 98.  In his Executive Order, Jindal says Archbishop Hannan was a servant of the people and his service to the New Orleans community and the State make it appropriate and fitting for the State of Louisiana to remember him, to mark his passing, and to honor his memory.
