Governor Jindal In Shreveport to Sign ‘Hunters For The Hungry’ Bills

Governor Bobby Jindal pays Shreveport a visit this afternoon as part of his statewide tour.  While he's here, he'll be signing bills for Hunters for the Hungry. 

Bossier City Representative Jeff Thompson is part of the group.  He says he filed the bills after meat donated to the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission was destroyed by the Department of Health and Hospitals.

Thompson and other area officials will hold a news conference at the Rescue Mission at 3:15 this afternoon as the governor signs these bills into law.
