KTBS-TV is reporting that Governor Bobby Jindal is concerned about the influx of  unaccompanied children crossing the border into the United States.

Jindal indicated that while he was on a tour of the Mexican Border on Monday (8-4) he saw three different groups of people attempting to cross the border.

The Governor said in a press conference Monday night he would like to see the unaccompanied children sent back to their native countries.

“Even the president said that it makes since to help these kids get back to their families, get back to their countries quickly,” he said. “Where I wish he would go even further is to actually do that and secure the border. Actually work with Congress to do the first and secondly secure the border, so we can reduce the flow of folks and eventually cut off the flow of folks that are coming to our country illegally.”
