Governor Fights To Keep Higher Ed Costs From Going Up

Governor John Bel Edwards had one big message for the Louisiana Board of Regents Wednesday morning, don't raise tuition. Edwards told the Board we need zero increases to Higher Ed costs. He also pointed out that despite the budget crunch, higher education was cut by less than 1%.

Currently, tuition at LSU is nearly 9 thousand dollars a semester for in state students.
