More than 480 airmen from Global Strike Command, Air Combat Command, and the Air Force Reserve component are gathered in northwest Louisiana this week. They're here for the final competitive events of Air Force Global Strike Command's second annual Global Strike Challenge, symposium, and score-posting. By the time things wrap up Wednesday, team and individual awards will have been presented to those with the highest performance scores among InterContinental Ballistic Missile, B-2 Spirit, B-52 Stratofortress, B-1 Lancer, UH-1N Huey, and security forces units. Some of the activities are taking place at Barksdale, some at Camp Minden, and the Symposium will be at the Shrevport Convention Center.
