Your greatest fear of never eating Giuseppe's delicious food again will never be realized.

It was June of this year that Chef Giuseppe announced that he would be closing Giuseppe's Ristorante on Line Avenue permanently. There wasn't a lot of explanation for the decision, but there was major heartache across Shreveport-Bossier. Many feared that they would never taste Giuseppe's delicious Italian cuisine again.

However, thanks to his son, we will still get a taste.

According to a blog called Pond and Parlor, Gio Brucia and his wife Natalie are carrying on his father's legacy and opening Giuseppe's Pastacaffe in November 2016. There is also a Facebook page dedicated to the new locations and job openings for the restaurant that have been posted on Craigslist. It is being described as an "intimate eatery that will specialize in homemade assorted pastas, delicious breakfast panini, curated wine list, coffee bar and much more."

Giuseppe's Pastacaffee will be located in the Pierremont Office Park on Pierremont Road. Its entrance is across the street from Cuban Liquor. The site says the shop will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
