Shellie Zimmerman, the estranged wife of George Zimmerman, called police on Monday and requested their assistance at her home saying that George Zimmerman had threatened her with a gun. George Zimmerman was recently found not guilty of the murder of Trayvon Martin. Shellie Zimmerman had just filed for divorce last week later and after Monday's ordeal declined to press charges.

Mr. and Mrs. Zimmerman were not finished splitting their property which was still located in their home and it was a surprise for George Zimmerman when his wife and her father returned to the house on Monday.

According to Mark O'Mara, Zimmerman's trial attorney, there was an argument with Shellie Zimmerman's father, that's when she called police.

Lake Mary Deputy Chief Colin Morgan told Fox News that Shellie's father was the aggressor in the incident. Police say Shellie told them that Zimmerman had his hand on his gun and punched her father. Shellie and her father have signed statements to not press charges against George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman has not been charged with a crime and has been released from custody.
