GED Recipients Graduate This Week

Caddo Parish Public Schools' Adult Education Department at Northwest Louisiana Technical College will hold its first-ever graduation for GED recipients. The program has 35 graduates for 2010-2011 -- and of those, 16 will be participating in the ceremony. Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover will be the guest speaker, and Chesapeake Energy will be onhand to present the graduates with a special gift. The ceremony is being held Thursday afternoon at 4 in the auditorium at NLTC on North Market Street.
