A fourth suspect has been arrested in Bossier City for the armed robbery of a man at a motel.

According to Mark Natale, spokesman for the Bossier City Police Department, Pierre Lawrence Perkins, 33, of Bossier City was arrested by Bossier City police Tuesday night on the warrant charging him with armed robbery of a firearm. Perkins also faces a drug possession charge for having Clonazepam tablets on him without a prescription when he was taken into custody. He was booked into the Bossier City Jail and is now housed at the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.

Late last month, Mason Andrew Mascola was arrested by the Caddo Sheriff’s Office and was booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.

Originally, Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit arrested Cheryl Denise Bayles, 32, of Shreveport and Chelsea Lynn Hays, 17, of Shreveport and obtained arrest warrants for Perkins and Mascola. All face charges of armed robbery with a firearm for robbing a man at gunpoint at the America’s Best Value Inn in the 1800 block of Old Minden Road.

An investigation found the quartet robbed the victim after Bayles and Hays lured him to the motel. Shortly after he arrived, Perkins and Mascola then confronted the victim in a breezeway where they robbed him at gunpoint. During the incident the victim attempted to wrestle the gun away from Perkins when the weapon discharged. No one was hit by the gunshot. The victim then managed to run away.
