Do you think you could make a four-point shot? Do you even know what a four-point shot is?The four-point shot is something dreamed up -- and perfected -- by the Harlem Globetrotters. It's shot from 35 feet away -- 12 feet farther than the NBA's official three-point line. And it's something that Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover, Bossier City Mayor Lo Walker, and Centenary College President David Rowe will be trying to make tomorrow morning in the Gold Dome. They're among a group of community leaders and college students chosen to pariticipate in the first four-point shot for charity event -- sponsored by the Globetrotters. Centenary alumnus and current Globetrotter Herb "Flight Time" Lang will be there to show them how it's done. The Globetrotters play the Washington Generals Sunday at the CenturyTel Center and they're donating fifty tickets to the game to the Providence House and forty more to the City of Shreveport's Mentoring Initiative.
