Randall Gay, who played cornerback for LSU and the New Orleans Saints was arrested at the Bulldog Pub, 4335 Perkins Road in Baton Rouge on Thursday around 1:45 a.m.

A woman, Desha Penco, was also arrested when she tried to kick out the window of the police car.

Gay was charged with entry or remaining on premises when forbidden, one count of simple battery, resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by public intoxication.

Gay had refused to leave and put his hands on an employee and was causing a disturbance. The couple were taken to East Baton Rouge Parish Prison where Gay posted a $1,200 bond and was released at 7:15 a.m. Penco was released at 7:00 a.m., her bond was $1,000 bond.

Gay played for LSU on the 2003 BCS national championship team, and the Saints Super Bowl XLIV champion team. He retired after suffering a concussion in 2010.
