Being a news reporter can take you to a lot of unusual spots, but it can also put you in some very dangerous situations.

Former Shreveport news anchor (KSLA) Stacey Bell, now a reporter for WNBC in New York was on the street Monday evening, reporting on city's snowstorm and travel ban. Then things almost took a terrible turn for the worst.

A car came around the corner, lost control, and nearly crashed into her.

And because she was on the air and facing the camera, Bell had no idea how close the car came to hitting her.

A close call, to say the least!
