Former Shreveport Housing Inspectors Cleared

Charges have been dropped against three former Shreveport housing inspectors. They were accused of teaming up with contractors to try to scam the city out of thousands of dollars.

But Caddo District Judge Mike Pitman has cleared Jackie Mandigo, Ray Jones and Daniel Lacour because key witnesses in the case have since died. Prosecutors had claimed the inspectors ok'd work that never happened or signed off on repairs that were never made.
