Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, once known as one of best wide receivers in the NFL while playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots, is having a string of bad luck lately.

He was arrested for assaulting his ex-wife, hasn't played football in the NFL since 2011, and now he has to serve a little jail time after getting himself involved in a domestic violence case.

Johnson and his attorney were in court negotiating a plea deal that would have more than likely gotten no jail time at all. But Johnson's courtroom funny business will cost him some time behind bars and some community service too.

Johnson reportedly gave his male attorney a big slap on the butt in court, according to the Sun Sentinel, and Judge Kathleen McHugh of Broward County in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. didn't think it was very funny.

Judge McHugh said, "Mr. Johnson, I don’t know that you’re taking this whole thing seriously. I’m not going to accept these plea negotiations. This isn’t a joke."

Johnson apologized for the game of grab-butt, but to no avail. He will now serve 30 days in the Broward County Jail.
