Former Fire Chief’s Civil Service Board Appearance Delayed

Former Shreveport Fire Chief Craig Mulford was scheduled to appear today before the Civil Service Board, but that has again been delayed.

Mulford has been fighting to get his job back after charges were dropped against him in the Fire Station 8 scandal. He's expected to be back before the board next month.

His attorney has issued the following statement:

"We are working on a scenario with the city attorney that is acceptable to the Louisiana Firefighters Retirement System."
