The Harrison County Sheriff’s office has been answering calls of flooding and trees down since 3AM. There are flooding conditions and high water throughout Harrison County and many of the main roads in Marshall are flooded.

Harrison County Deputies have responded to stranded vehicles on farm to market roads and flooding in low lying creek areas and many trees are down across some roadways.

All drivers are advised if they see a flooded roadway to stop and turn around. Do not attempt to drive through a flooded roadway. The roadway may have damage that cannot be seen and a vehicle may be swept from the roadway.

Road and bridge crews will be inspecting roadways for damage when the flooding subsides.
