Five arrests have been made in a drug sting by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force. During a search warrant in the 3000 block of Fulton Street, agents seized more than 400 doses of Ecstasy, 1,200 grams of marijuana and more than $2,700 in cash. Arrested there were 33-year-old Cedric Washington and 31-year-old Aundre Young, both charged with possession with intent to distribute Ecstasy and marijuana.

During a search at a home in the 300 block of E. 77th Street, they located a .45-caliber handgun, nearly 3 grams of crack cocaine, 13 grams of marijuana and $1,300 cash. 43-year-old Laymone Davis was arrested on two possession with intent to distribute charges and for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He also had an outstanding city warrant.

A third search warrant was executed in the 400 block of Chickasaw Trail, with assistance from the DEA Task Force. Agents seized more than 3,100 grams of suspected marijuana, nearly $500 in cash, and a loaded handgun. 20-year-olds Joseph Winslow and Donald Smith were arrested for possession with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm with a controlled dangerous substance.

More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
