First Mardi Gras Parade In The Area Is Monday
January 15, 2012 5:40 PM The Krewe of Harambee Parade rolled today. Dozens of people showed up to enjoy today’s parade. Krewe members spent most of the weekend getting ready for the big day. Many of them made their own masks for the event. Each member threw at least two African masks to the crowd.
The theme for this year was “Harambee on Broadway.”
