A two-alarm fire leaves a Shreveport apartment complex heavily damaged, but nobody was hurt. Fire crews arrived at the King Manor Apartments in the 7200 block of Bernstein just before 10 last night to find heavy smoke and flames coming from three apartments. The fire eventually vented through the roof. Firefighters searched the apartments and no one was inside. A second alarm was called just after 10 o'clock because the fire reached the attic space and was involving a fourth apartment. The flames were extinguisned shortly after 10:30. Four of the apartments were heavily damaged, but four were saved. The unit where the fire started was unoccupied and had no utilities. Investigators say it appears to have been intentionally set. They continue to look into the cause.
