A raging two-alarm fire in Shreveport's historic Highland neighborhood kept firefighters busy all morning. The fire was reported about 6:45 in the 15-hundred block of Cody and, within five minutes of their arrival, firefighters had already called in a second alarm. Harris says it took over an hour to bring the fire in the big two-story house under control. Its cause remains under investigation. Harris says the owner was out of town at the time. There were no injuries in the fire.
