Fire Destroys South Bossier Mobile Home

A family is safe after a fire destroyed their mobile home in south Bossier.

Just after 1:40 this afternoon, Bossier sheriff's deputies, along with firefighters from South Bossier Fire District #2 and the Bossier City Fire Department, arrived at Plantation Trace Trailer Park, formerly J & M Trailer Park, to reports of a fire at #4 Davidson Drive.

Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started near the clothes dryer. A man, his girlfriend and their infant son were inside the trailer at the time, but were able to get out unharmed. The man's parents also live in the trailer, but were not home when the fire started.
